Is this module also suitable for series connection of power supplies?

No, the QUINT-DIODE/12-24DC/2X20/1X40 can also be used in a series connection of power supplies. Correct wiring can protect the power supplies from critical voltages at the time of switch-on and switch-off, especially with capacitive loads.
NOTE:
Since "-" is not connected for the protection of a series circuit, this device is not operated in accordance with its specification.
