Uncooled GB/T DC charging cables with CE certification for permanent charging with up to 250 kW
With the new CHARX connect standard generation of GB/T DC charging cables, Phoenix Contact offers a CE-certified charging cable in accordance with the latest Chinese GB/T standard 20234 for the global e-mobility market and corresponding applications.
The uncooled CHARX connect standard DC charging cable is available in 125 kW (125 A/1,000 V) and 250 kW (250 A/1,000 V) versions – in Boost Mode, charging powers of up to 350 kW (350 A/1,000 V) are possible on a temporary basis.
The robustness and durability of the charging connector is achieved by an innovative crimping process, but also by the materials used: The silver-plated contacts are resistant to wear and corrosion and the housing can withstand abrasion, being dropped, and impact. Overall, the charging connector achieves protection class IP67 and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. The low-torsion flexible cable has a conductor cross-section of just 2 x 70 mm², allows for easy and convenient use, and is resistant to frost.
In addition to the standard versions, the CHARX connect standard GB/T DC charging cable is available as a configurable version that can be personalized. For example, the charging connector can be equipped with programmable LEDs or an S1 switch for implementing intelligent applications.
