Surge protection for 230 V signal applications

The Push-in terminal blocks enable quick and tool-free mounting. The plug-in surge protection itself can be replaced easily in the event of an overload without having to dismantle the entire installation. With an overall width of just 10 mm, Clixtrab MOV is very space-saving and therefore ideal for use in cramped control cabinets. Despite its compact size, it provides reliable protection for two signal paths in measurement and control technology (MCR) applications up to 230 V.
An integrated status indicator on the protective device enables you to monitor the device directly on site. If desired, the status can be transmitted to the control room via optionally available remote signaling modules, which means that the user has full control over the protection of the signal applications at all times. The use of terminal blocks as the base element allows the application of the extensive range of accessories from the COMPLETE line product portfolio. By integrating disconnect knives in the base element, it is possible to take insulation measurements without having to access the installation. An integrated coding mechanism in the connector prevents incorrect assignment to the installed terminal block. Clixtrab MOV is fit for the future, already meeting the requirements of the upcoming international IEC 61643-21 standard.
