The CLIPLINE complete terminal block system allows you to respond flexibly to your customers' requirements – for all applications, anywhere in the world. Choose from the following connection methods:
Universal in every application. This screw connection technology is characterized by the multi-conductor connection and superior contact force, and is also maintenance-free due to the “Reakdyn principle”. Screw connection technology is recognized and accepted worldwide, which means that it can be used anywhere.
PT is the new generation of terminal blocks in the CLIPLINE complete system. Extremely easy direct and tool-free wiring is now possible for conductors from 0.25 mm². The special contact spring allows easy insertion and ensures a high level of contact quality.
The PTV connection is a lateral Push-in connection. This is why PTV is not regarded as a separate connection technology, but rather an extension of PT technology. Nevertheless, this connection is worth mentioning as it combines the advantages of Push-in connection with those of lateral conductor routing.
The proven connection technology for applications that are sensitive to vibration. The spring-cage always exerts the same constant force on the conductor, regardless of the influence of the operator. Wiring is carried out easily via the space-saving front connection.
Plug-in connections for the most stringent universal demands. The nominal current of the connected conductor can be carried through the plug-in contact. Connectors and basic terminal blocks in four connection technologies can be freely combined due to the uniform plug-in zone.
CLIPLINE complete provides you with a uniform range of accessories for all connection technologies:
To enable fast and individual potential distribution, the terminal blocks in the CLIPLINE complete system have two function shafts. They are arranged in a line across all the terminal blocks, allowing the connection technologies to be combined. This makes it possible to implement all the tasks of potential bridging within a very short time.
Bridging between non-adjacent terminal blocks is established by removing individual contact tabs from the standard bridge. Two potentials can then be routed in parallel through a terminal strip. The contact points can also be marked.
The reducing bridge enables terminal blocks with different nominal cross sections to be connected easily. The reducing bridge can be used to quickly create power blocks, e.g., a 10 mm² terminal block with a 2.5 mm² or 4 mm² terminal block. Independent of the connection technology.
The bridge bars enable individual cross connections. In test disconnect terminal blocks, the bridges ensure a short circuit of the current transformer. They can be positioned on either side of the disconnect point in the bridge shaft and securely latched in place. The short-circuit switching operation, which must be performed deliberately with a tool, is safely executed with screw terminal points.
Terminal blocks in various widths with plug-in bridge shafts can be connected individually. The wire bridges provide maximum flexibility for all bridging tasks between non-adjacent terminal blocks.
All terminal blocks have tall and flat marker grooves. Tall marker grooves are primarily used for terminal marking. They accommodate larger, tall terminal markings. Flat marker grooves, which are often used for marking individual terminal points, are used to accommodate smaller, flat markings. All materials are available unprinted or marked according to your requirements.
All test plugs in the system make contact in the freely accessible function shaft. A test plug with 2.3 mm diameter is available for individual measuring lines. More complex testing tasks can be implemented using alignable test plugs. Test adapters can be assembled individually and are ideal for use in test laboratories.
All disconnect terminal blocks in the CLIPLINE complete system have a standardized disconnect zone. The disconnect zone accommodates various connectors such as fuse plugs, component connectors, and isolating plugs.
The P-CO component connector allows you to mount components quickly and securely using contact springs. Coding ensures connection without the risk of polarity reversal. For assembly, the spring-cage connections are opened or closed inside the connector by turning a standard screwdriver.
The fuse plugs transform the disconnect terminal blocks in the CLIPLINE complete system into full-fledged fuse terminal blocks for overload and short-circuit protection. When offset, the P-FU ...-5 compact fuse plug fits on the disconnect terminal blocks with 5.2 mm pitch. The fuse plug therefore offers maximum space savings.
The COMBI connection system enables the time-saving and modular configuration of your application. Its distinguishing feature is the standardized plug-in zone. This plug-in zone enables terminal blocks and plugs to be combined to suit the application, regardless of the connection technology.
The easy and individual coding option increases wiring reliability. Furthermore, the coding protects against mismatching. The individual coding elements are inserted at the coding position in the basic terminal block and the coding tap is removed at the corresponding point on the connector.
Latches that snap onto the outside of the connector housing are available for fixing the connectors to the basic terminal blocks. Snap-on strain relief and closed cable housings are available if required to relieve the strain on the cables at the connectors. The two-piece housings can be mounted easily.
The Phoenix Contact terminal blocks are subjected to tests which go above and beyond the usual terminal block standard. The results of the tests enable these terminal blocks to be used in all industries, such as:
Due to the implementation of appropriate design measures and the use of high-grade materials, the terminal blocks significantly exceed the requirements imposed by standards.
The CLIPLINE complete terminal block system from Phoenix Contact delivers compact and high-performance electrical connections. High-quality physical properties and advanced industrial standards are evidenced by connections with long-term stability. This high quality is demonstrated by recognized tests which are documented in national and international standards. This ensures they can be used safely in all areas of industry relating to systems manufacturing and machine building.
In process engineering, the quality of the electrical contact points is a major criterion for the reliability of the overall system. Phoenix Contact offers a comprehensive range of Ex-approved terminal blocks for process engineering. Due to the high-quality contact and insulation materials used, these terminal blocks are also particularly suitable for harsh, potentially explosive industrial applications.
Rail vehicles are subjected to vibrations due to operational reasons and therefore require extremely high standards of quality and reliability for the electrical connections. The terminal blocks used in rail vehicles must therefore be suitable for such use. For this reason, terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact are tested for maximum vibration and shock resistance in accordance with the requirements of railway standard DIN EN 50155.
The shipbuilding industry is a worldwide operation with a global supply industry, both of which are subject to high safety standards. Safe and reliable wiring in shipbuilding requires maritime approvals. The terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact have been tested and approved in accordance with numerous ship classification societies.
Phoenix Contact terminal blocks have been used in the energy supply industry for many decades. Their excellent electrical and mechanical properties qualify them for these applications. The resistance of the terminal blocks to environmental influences and the long-term stability of the materials used are of great importance. The quality of Phoenix Contact has proven itself here in particular. High-quality materials guarantee long-term reliability.
Phoenix Contact provides innovative terminal blocks for use in renewable power generation. The industrially tested terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact provide the basis for this. Terminal blocks in the form of disconnect terminal blocks, fuse terminal blocks, and potential collective terminals are particularly effective in meeting the requirements of photovoltaic systems. Tailor-made terminal blocks up to 1500 V DC are available for all wiring tasks.
Extend your applications quickly and easily with the ideal form of protection. To do this, use the appropriate PTCB electronic circuit breaker in the CLIPLINE complete design.
