Your local energy monitoring system

Collect information on the energy flow of your application. After the subsequent analysis, you will then discover what primarily affects your energy consumption.

  • Produce informative dashboards, specifically for energy management
  • Generate diagrams that provide you with information on your current energy consumption
  • Create and calculate your own EnPI key figures to create reports
  • Use an integrated warning system and discover if you are consuming too much energy

The independent setup of an energy monitoring system

Rely on our expertise – and still remain independent

Absolute safety: EMMA On-Premises runs without requiring Internet access, ensuring maximum security. So, your data remains confidential and secure within your company.
Maintenance-free: Our system is designed to work smoothly and efficiently, without the need for constant updates. Consistent upgrades to the software ensure you can perform updates for function extensions.
Cost efficiency: You can look forward to a solution without recurring payments – no recurring costs or fees.
Universal compatibility: You can integrate third-party hardware as well. EMMA On-Premises does not require you to use our measuring devices exclusively. It provides you with the flexibility to select the devices of your choice. Use a data logger or a controller such as PLCnext Control to connect the third-party hardware to the energy monitoring system.
Future-proof: With its flexible and open architecture, our system is ready for future upgrades and adjustments to the cloud, building management system, etc.

You can also use the energy monitoring software to combine data from several measuring points and display it separately via a tree structure. For example, you can combine the energy consumption of various departments or locations and track the course of energy consumption over a specific period of time.

With EMMA On-Premises, you can generate and compare key figures (EnPIs) yourself. The integrated formula editor is a helpful tool for this. With it, several key figures and energy values can be calculated or combined. Third-party or old performance data can be imported via the import function as a CSV file and included in the calculated or compared data.

Reports can be created using key figures and energy values from the last few months and years. Easily download the reports and share them with others.

Alarms are generated within the system once the defined characteristic values are exceeded or not reached. So, users are informed in good time about any excessively high energy consumption or defects.

User management Energy monitoring functions

EMMA On-Premises combines the graphic display options and simple user management. Define different user rights for the different users of your system. Determine which user may make settings or view information.

Topology

The EMMA On-Premises system consists of EMpro measuring devices that you connect to an EPC with a simple switch. Establish communication via a REST API or via Modbus/TCP, enabling quick and easy integration into your network. After starting the software, the EPC automatically discovers the devices in the network,, which makes the connection particularly easy.

Because the system is open, you can integrate even more measuring devices in parallel to the energy measuring devices from Phoenix Contact. Connect these Modbus/RTU and M-Bus measuring devices using data loggers or devices from the PLCnext Control family. Then forward the measured data to the EPC via Modbus/TCP. This means that energy data, flow rates, temperature, and pressure can be easily transmitted and displayed in EMMA On-Premises.
