IPD installation system with Push-in technology
Experience simple power distribution with the IPD installation system for buildings and infrastructure equipment. IPD (Installation Power Distribution) is fully pluggable and ideally suited for your lighting applications. The Push-in technology allows you to connect 3- and 5-position cables up to 2.5 mm² conveniently and without tools, even in difficult-to-access areas. Thanks to the IP67 degree of protection, IPD can also be used safely outdoors and in wet areas.
IPD panel feed-throughs with Push-in connection allow tool-free assembly with the direct connection of pretreated and rigid conductors. The push button can be used to release already-installed conductors or to connect conductors without ferrules.
The fast-locking system guarantees easy and reliable mounting, even in particularly difficult installation situations, and the easy replacement of devices if service is required. The plugs latch clearly into place and provide reliable protection against incorrect connection.
With the IPD panel feed-throughs, you feed the cable on the field side through the sleeve and connect it directly to the device. Then simply snap the sleeve into place, establish strain relief via the nut, and the cable is connected.
With the Push-in connection on the device side, wiring robots can automatically connect the components in the device. The IPD panel feed-throughs are therefore ideal for lighting applications.
Cabling with long-term stability in outdoor and industrial environments: With IP67, your installation is protected against splash water and dust for particularly reliable installations in harsh environments.
QPD installation system with QUICKON IDC connection
Industrial power distribution does not have to be time-consuming or complicated. The robust IP68/IP69K QPD installation system for capacities up to 690 V/40 A is proof of this. Thanks to the proven QUICKON IDC displacement connection, cables up to 5 x 6.0 mm² can be connected quickly and easily, without the need for stripping or special tools. You can choose either fixed or plug-in connections to create flexible distribution solutions. Device connections can also be implemented easily without having to open the device. This means that the delicate electronics remain protected from environmental influences.

QPD installation system
Industrial power distribution does not have to be time-consuming or complicated. The robust IP68/IP69K QPD installation system for capacities up to 690 V/40 A is proof of this. With the QPD cable connectors, power distributors, or device connection, you can connect installation cables to cables up to 5 x 6.0 mm² quickly and without any hassle or the need for special tools. Thanks to the convenient QUICKON IDC fast connection, you can reduce cabling time by up to 80%. Depending on the application, choose between fixed and pluggable connections with up to four outputs.
With the QPD installation system, you can pre-assemble installation connectors easily and connect them on site without opening the device. This means that the delicate electronics in the power connector remain protected from environmental influences.
QPD product range overview Sicherer Anschluss in wenigen Schritten
1. Panel feed-throughs
The panel feed-throughs are cable glands that can be connected from the outside. As a result, devices no longer need to be opened for installation cables to be connected. This ensures that the manufacturer’s specific protection class is maintained.
2. Cable connectors
The cable connector can be used to extend or repair installation cables. Combined with the installation connectors, the cable connector can be used as a flexible coupling connection.
3. Installation connectors
The installation connector with leading PE contact is ideal for quick device replacement during servicing or in installations with pre-assembled cables. It is coded to prevent mismatching.
4. T power distributors
Installing a branch line for loads is easy with the compact T power distributor.
5. H power distributor
The H power distributor is a compact, robust junction box that can be connected quickly. The four connections are connected parallel to each other, which also allows them to be used as a star distributor.
Strip the cable and prepare the PE conductor.
Insert the wires into the QUICKON nut and snap into the marked wire guides (1, 2, 3, ...).
Cut the litz wire ends off flush.
Place the union nut on the contact carrier and tighten it until the stop, or use the specified torque for tightening.
You will feel the connection snap into place when the optimum tightening point is reached. The QUICKON nut is now screwed on so tight that it cannot be unscrewed again by hand.
The cable can be connected quickly and easily without using any special tools.
PRC installation systems with screw connection
PRC series installation connectors are ideally suited for compact and reliable power transmission up to 35 A. High degrees of protection and an impact resistance up to IK08 protect your power distribution even under extreme ambient conditions. The locking can be released either manually or by using tools and ensures greater flexibility during installation and maintenance of your system.
PRC advantages at a glance
Your space saver for pluggable power distribution: Use the PRC to transmit currents up to 35 A in a minimum amount of space. The device interfaces are available with male and female contacts. Integrated anti-rotation protection ensures reliable alignment in the device panel. You'll thus benefit from clearly structured connection areas as well as more space and greater flexibility when it comes to device design.
Flexibility that pays off: The manual and tool-releasable locking system provides you with even greater freedom during installation and maintenance. The connector can be unlocked easily via a manual release lever or a bladed screwdriver.
The PRC is made for extremes. No matter whether for indoor or outdoor use, whether it is hot or cold, dry or wet: With high degrees of protection up to IP69, PRC ensures reliable power distribution even under demanding environmental conditions. An impact resistance up to IK08 makes PRC a robust solution, even when subjected to vibrations or impacts.
The choice is yours: Using the proven screw connection technology you can assemble your cables on site and without the need for special tools. Here you benefit from pre-installed conductor protection so that you are also able to safely connect untreated conductors. Crimp connection technology enables a fast, automated connection wherever you have to assemble cables in large volumes. Choose the solution that best suits your application.
Clever features such as mechanical coding support you for a quick and error-free commissioning. PRC 20 separates versions with different numbers of positions as well as different versions of one number of positions safely and mechanically. The integrated color coding of the different signal types facilitates clear identification on the construction site.
