The CHARX connect mode 3 charging cables are suitable for the AC charging of electric vehicles. They achieve charging powers of up to 22 kW and are available with type 1 and type 2 connectors as well as GB/T standard. In addition to cables for fixed installation on charging stations or home chargers, we also provide mobile charging cables that can be stored in the electric car.

The particularly robust, VDE-certified charging cable has been specially designed for use in e-mobility applications with regard to insulation thickness, material flexibility, and other properties.

Locking with a U-lock
Optionally, our type 1 and GB/T charging connectors can be locked with a U-lock on the actuation lever. This prevents the lever from being actuated once inserted.

For a consistent appearance of your brand, we can produce our AC charging connectors with your logo on request – imprinted or as a UV- and weather-resistant plastic label.

In the case of the charging cable, our portfolio offers various cable lengths and conductor cross-sections, metric, and AWG cables, as well as spiraled and straight cables. If your preferred combination is not available, then we can also manufacture a customer-specific item for you. We can supply the cable end with a step cut, preassembled, or compacted, upon request.

Our charging cables with a free cable end are ideal for mounting on AC wall boxes for private use, e.g. in a carport or garage. These charging cables only have a charging connector on the vehicle side. This makes handling much easier electric car drivers. They only have to plug the charging cable into the vehicle, unlike for home chargers with a charging socket, where they also have to connect the cable to the home charger.

Most public charging stations are equipped with a charging socket instead of a permanently attached charging cable, as this is less susceptible to vandalism and requires less frequent maintenance. The North American Charging Standard (NACS) is gaining momentum and will replace the CCS type 1 charging standard in the long term. NACS will therefore play a central role in the electrification of the transport sector and the ramp-up of charging infrastructure in North America.
