With the board-to-board connectors of the FINEPITCH product range, Phoenix Contact provides shielded and unshielded solutions for signal and data transmission. This allows you to implement individual PCB orientations in all dimensions with different designs, stack heights, and numbers of positions in different pitches from 0.635 mm to 2.54 mm. Mezzanine, coplanar connections, and mother-daughter cards are also possible.

The same tolerances, stack heights, and mechanical properties enable uniform process parameters – particularly in applications in which both versions are to be installed on one printed circuit board. ModBlox7™

ModBlox7™ is an open, modular hardware standard for the creation of scalable industrial box PCs. Combining cost-effective standard modules results in a system that can be tailored to individual requirements. The system is based on a standardized mechanical and electrical connection between the individual modules and offers various mounting types such as wall, DIN rail, panel, or 19-inch rack mounting. With the unique modular mechanical and electrical approach, no additional components such as backplanes or shelf controllers are required.

Starting with the power supply unit (PSU), the central processing unit (CPU) then follows. Both units are connected with PCB connectors from the COMBICON portfolio.

Starting from the CPU, the corresponding communication (e.g., PCIe, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, etc.) is transmitted via FP 0,8 series ScaleX board-to-board connectors.
