The IPD installation system is fully pluggable and, with Push-in Technology and fast-locking, allows convenient, tool-free installation even in areas that are difficult to access. For particularly durable and long-lasting power cabling in challenging outdoor and industrial environments, the installation system has IP66, IP68, and IP69K protection against water and dust.
IPD installation connectors impress with their easy handling and safe installation. With device-side Push-in connection and field-side Push-Lock connection, you can assemble connectors and panel feed-throughs quickly and easily without tools. The bayonet fast-locking system guarantees easy and reliable mounting, even in particularly difficult installation situations.
The Push-Lock connection of the pluggable IPD installation connectors enables the easy, time-saving installation of flexible and rigid conductors. You can open and close the terminal points easily using the lever.
IPD panel feed-throughs with Push-in connection allow tool-free assembly with the direct connection of pretreated and rigid conductors. This means that wiring robots can also connect the components in the device automatically.
Installation can be so easy, especially in difficult installation situations. To enable you to work conveniently, even under adverse conditions, the IPD connectors are equipped with a bayonet fast-locking system. The mating position snaps clearly and securely into place, with mechanical coding to protect against mismatching, and touch protection in accordance with DIN EN 0105.
The 5-position IPD DC connectors and panel feed-through enable you to easily set up the plug-in DC device output. With Push-in or Push-Lock connection, the conductor connection on the field and device side can be made conveniently without tools.
Save on field connectors with IPD panel feed-throughs for direct cable connection. The cable is simply fed through the sleeve on the field side and connected directly to the device via Push-in Technology with feather-light plugging. Then simply snap the sleeve into place and establish strain relief via the nut, and you’re done.
Long-term stable cabling in outdoor and industrial environments: With IP66, IP68, and IP69K throughout the entire system, your installation is protected against water and dust, for particularly reliable installations in harsh environments.
Industrial power distribution does not have to be time-consuming. The robust IP68/IP69K QPD installation system for capacities of up to 690 V/40 A is proof of this. Due to the proven QUICKON IDC displacement connection, cables up to 5 x 6.0 mm² can be connected without the need for stripping or special tools. The quick and easy handling means that connection time can be reduced by up to 80%.
QPD installation connectors enable convenient and safe cable connection. There is no need for laborious loosening and tightening of screws. IDC insulation displacement technology makes installation quick. This saves time and prevents connection errors.
Strip the cable and prepare the PE conductor.
Insert the wires into the QUICKON nut and snap into the marked wire guides (1, 2, 3, ...).
Cut the litz wire ends off flush.
Place the union nut on the contact carrier and tighten it until the stop, or use the specified torque for tightening.
You will feel the connection snap into place when the optimum tightening point is reached. The QUICKON nut is now screwed on so tight that it cannot be unscrewed again by hand.
The cable can be connected quickly and easily without using any special tools.
PRC installation connectors are ideally suited for compact and reliable power transmission up to 35 A. High degrees of protection and impact strength up to IK08 ensure reliable power distribution even under extreme ambient conditions. The locking can be released either manually or by using tools and ensures greater flexibility during installation and maintenance of your system.
Your space saver for pluggable power distribution: Use PRC to transmit currents up to 35 A in a minimum amount of space. The device interfaces are available with male and female contacts. Integrated anti-rotation protection ensures reliable alignment in the device panel. You'll thus benefit from clearly structured connection areas as well as more space and greater flexibility when it comes to device design.
Flexibility that pays off: The locking that can be released either manually or by using tools provides even more freedom during installation and maintenance. The connector can be unlocked easily via a manual release lever or using a bladed screwdriver.

Here you benefit from pre-installed conductor protection so that you are also able to safely connect untreated conductors. Clever features such as mechanical coding support you for a quick and error-free commissioning. PRC 20 separates versions with different numbers of positions as well as different versions of one number of positions safely and mechanically.
