The STEP POWER bus power supply for KNX bus systems is tailored ideally to modern building automation. It is the first on the market to feature an electronically post-modulated and therefore active KNX choke. This adapts dynamically to the load of the connected KNX devices, increasing the efficiency of the bus system.

The multifunctional color display shows all relevant KNX system parameters and provides support during commissioning as well as when extending the building automation system and performing diagnostics.

The STEP POWER power supply supplies smart meter gateways, Raspberry Pis, and other smart home components via the USB port. In addition, it can be used for the fast charging of mobile end devices.

The power supply unit has a USB-A or USB-C port for up to 15 W. Using it as a USB charger provides more space in the control cabinet due to the particularly narrow overall width. The integrated cable groove in the housing of the power supply enables the USB cable to be routed easily under the cover of the distribution board.

The STEP POWER power supply also ensures high availability in Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications up to 120 W. Power supply and data transmission are combined in the same Ethernet cable. STEP POWER with PoE in accordance with IEEE 802.3 is the perfect power supply for video surveillance or WLAN access points in particular.

The version with the adjustable voltage range of 48 to 56 V DC can be used in both industry and household applications.

It supplies the charging controller for your charging station or home charger safely and reliably. After all, STEP POWER has been developed and tested functionally and, in particular, with respect to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in accordance with the charging station standard EN 61851-21-2.

With the STEP POWER power supply, specially developed for LED applications, you can supply state-of-the-art lighting scenarios from the control cabinet.

Through regulation to a constant voltage, it enables the safe operation of LED lights in combination with current-regulated ballasts or, for example, LED strips with a resistance circuit.

The power supply features a particularly flat housing and is approved in accordance with the LED standards EN 61437-2-13 and EN 55015.
