IP68 means that the OCS housing with built-in electronics may be immersed in water up to 2 m deep for a maximum of 24 hours. IK is an impact protection rating. IK10 means that the housing can withstand impact energies of up to 20 joules (this converts to 5 kg from a 40 cm drop height).
Can I integrate a display in my OCS housing?
Yes, the system is also very flexible in this respect. It is possible to integrate the display directly into the cover as well as into the panel. If the display is integrated into the panel and protected by a transparent cover, the housing retains its high IP68 degree of protection.
