The FLASHTRAB type 1+2+3 combined lightning current and surge arrester reliably protects electrical installations against overvoltage. The optional remote signaling module with digital output signals tripping and maintenance requirements.

Sockets for DIN rail mounting in the rail-mounted-device format enable direct connection of 230 V devices to the main distribution board.

For devices with a cable length distance of more than 10 m from the protected main distribution, an additional micro-protection unit is recommended.

In particular in outdoor areas, loads such as wall boxes, outdoor lighting, pumps, and photovoltaic systems must be protected against overvoltage. In some cases, these devices are already equipped with surge protection ex-works; in other cases, an on-site extension is required.

Photovoltaic systems require both AC and DC-side protection. Fully prefabricated string combiner boxes simplify the connection considerably. Special photovoltaic connectors also enable a secure connection.

DC voltage is often used to power electrical door systems, alarm systems, notification systems, and other security and convenience systems. For this purpose, the conversion of the AC voltage is necessary. Historically, different systems require different voltage levels.
