CAPAROC is your individual modular system. With the many combination options, you can adapt the system ideally to the conditions of your application. CAPAROC is being extended constantly and the numerous modules are always compatible with one another. Using this system, you are perfectly positioned for the future.

The system configuration starts with the power module. Central feed-in and communication are managed here. All additional modules are supplied directly via the rear-side current rail. With automatic module addressing in the system, no further effort is needed. All system information is collected via the power module and forwarded to the provided interface for evaluation. This ensures that you have transparency for the entire 24 V supply grid.

  • With EtherNet/IP™ interface

The two-channel circuit breaker modules in the CAPAROC system are intuitive and easy to configure. They allow you to easily read off the set nominal current directly on the device at any time. Moreover, the active current limitation function ensures the more targeted utilization of the upstream power supply.

The one- and four-channel circuit breaker modules are integrated into the system in a channel-specifically. With fixed and adjustable nominal currents, they can be adjusted ideally to any application – from maximum compactness with an overall width of just 3 mm per channel, right through to four integrated potential distributor terminals with a connection cross-section of up to 4 mm². The CAPAROC system includes everything necessary for reliable protection.

The rear-side current rails are elementary blocks of the CAPAROC system. They ensure the supply of all modules in the system. Modules can be added or removed without further installation work. The potential distributors are the ideal extension alongside every circuit breaker module for positive and 0 V load supply.

CAPAROC EX

Use in the Ex area

Now you can also use CAPAROC in explosion-protected areas. The CAPAROC PM S-R EX power module and the new adjustable, two-channel circuit breaker modules also enables you to reliably protect loads in explosion-protected areas against overload and short-circuit currents.
The Ex e approvals for zone 2 significantly extend the wide range of possible CAPAROC system applications.

The CAPAROC PM S-R power module gives you a group message for the entire system via the status output. Any errors in the system error are reported via the non-isolated output. The I >80% output issues a signal if the load on at least one channel is over 80% capacity. This allows you to plan maintenance in a targeted manner and prevent a failure at an early stage. If tripping nevertheless occurs, all triggered channels can be switched on again via the reset input.

The CAPAROC PM IOL power module features an IO-Link interface which is often used in machine building and systems manufacturing.
Installation of IO-Link devices is very simple, quickly completed, and does not require complex training. The additional information available from the machines reflects the condition of the machine. With the IO-Link interface, error states and threshold values that have been exceeded are detected at an early stage. You can therefore plan maintenance at an early stage. The integrated error log enables rapid problem identification when troubleshooting in the 12–24 V DC range.

The PROFINET power module also includes a system bus interface for communication with the QUINT POWER power supply. This provides full transparency about all data in the 24 V system: from the primary side of the power supply through to the load. The function blocks provided for the TIA Portal, CODESYS, and PLCnext Engineer make it easier for you to get started and you can access all the data quickly. EtherNet/IP™ logo

The CAPAROC PM EIP power module is designed for applications in which EtherNet/IP™ is used as the communication interface. Like the PROFINET power module, the module has the system bus interface for communication with the QUINT POWER power supply. This provides you with all the data for the entire supply system.
The corresponding EDS files for integration can be found in the download area. In addition, the AOI files are available for convenient integration into Studio 5000®. This enables quick and easy integration.
