The switchgear and controlgear assembly is part of the modular grid connection system from Phoenix Contact.
CBL-TAB-MOD31-POW is a grid protection module. The grid protection module can be used in medium-voltage switchgear with miniature circuit breakers as overcurrent protection (independent maximum current time protection/overcurrent time protection) or as decoupling protection in power generation systems.
The main tasks of the integrated protective and control device include:
• Overcurrent time protection
• Higher or lower-level or intermediate decoupling protection
• Earth fault direction protection
In addition, further protective functions such as short-circuit protection, motor protection, etc. can be activated and configured.
The integrated test-disconnect terminal blocks allow protection tests to be carried out quickly and easily.
Communication with the remote control module (see accessories) is via RS-485 (Modbus/RTU or IEC 60870-5-103).
The power supply (24 V DC) can be realized via the power supply module (see accessories).
To adapt the alignment of the module's external connections to the installation situation on site, the mounting panel can be loosened, rotated in 90° increments, and refastened.
The external connections and cable entries are designed as connectors or cable glands. The connection is established using preassembled connecting cables, which are available in different lengths (see accessories).
