The switchgear and controlgear assembly is part of the modular grid connection system from Phoenix Contact.
CBL-TAB-MOD42-CTRL is intended for individual programming in the field of energy applications, e.g., for remote control technology, protocol converters, energy management, as well as feed-in and load control.
The equipment includes an Axiocontrol PLC, an Ethernet switch, relay modules, and Axioline modules for digital signals and RS-485 communication with the lower-level modules of the grid connection system.
The Ethernet switch extends the controller with additional RJ45 interfaces and thus allows the connection of additional devices.
Users can load and run their own programs and applications from the PLCnext Store on the controller. In addition, free programming is possible both in high-level languages and in accordance with IEC 61131-3.
The power supply (24 V DC) can be realized via the power supply module (see accessories).
To adapt the alignment of the module’s external connections to the installation situation on site, the mounting panel can be loosened, rotated in 90° increments, and refastened.
The external connections and cable entries are designed as connectors or cable glands. The connection is established using preassembled connecting cables, which are available in different lengths (see accessories).
