The switchgear and controlgear assembly is part of the modular grid connection system from Phoenix Contact.
CBL-TAB-MOD62-KOM is a communication module and provides two communication paths:
• Communication with the direct marketer/customer operations management via modem
• Remote maintenance access for the system installer/operator or startup and service personnel via MGuard Secure Cloud from Phoenix Contact
The communication module enables both startup and remote maintenance of connected modules and network devices. In addition, the generation plants can be connected to the operations management system and/or a direct marketer.
Communication takes place either via cellular communication or wired via Ethernet.
The equipment includes two industrial LTE routers and four LTE antennas including holders and connecting cables.
The power supply (24 V DC) can be realized via the power supply module (see accessories).
To adapt the alignment of the module’s external connections to the installation situation on site, the mounting panel can be loosened, rotated in 90° increments, and refastened.
The external connections and cable entries are designed as connectors or cable glands. The connection is established using preassembled connecting cables, which are available in different lengths (see accessories).

The grid connection system consists of modular switchgear and controlgear assemblies that enable different applications to be connected to the medium-voltage grid in accordance with the requirements of the local grid operator or the currently valid technical connection rules.
