The Pico Off-Grid System (POS) is a robust PV panel-based solution with multiple performance classes up to 190 Wp. The solution includes a housing, pole bracket, and solar panel. Computers, communication units, batteries, and more can be added to create self-sufficient solutions for field use.

POS PV system solution
Use the PV panel-based POS (Pico off-grid system) to create energy-self-sufficient systems with several performance classes up to 190 Wp. With the robust housing and a mast bracket made of stainless steel, you can implement a reliable and durable solution for providing energy in remote areas and demanding environments. Areas of application include, for example, environmental data acquisition, industrial environments with high demands, and many other outdoor applications.
The system has been successfully tested for shocks with a force of 5g and vibrations up to 7.4 Hz with an amplitude of 0.15 mm. Wind loads of up to 88 km/h (wind force 8) were successfully simulated on the system. An additional gain provides even greater stability for loads up to wind force 10. The resistance depends on the weight of the components in the housing.
For optimum performance, the panel should be installed at an angle that corresponds to the latitude of the installation location. If your site is located in the northern hemisphere, face the solar panel true south. Similarly, if your site is located in the southern hemisphere, face the solar panel true north. The PV panels are designed to minimize the effects of partial shading. However, to ensure maximum efficiency, shading should be avoided as far as possible.
