MCS series housings at a glance
Your advantages in detail The monitoring case system is an all-round talent. It is a compelling solution in terms of its application, assembly, customization, maintenance, and resistance.
The housing achieves its convenient operation through design details such as the special hinges, which can even be retrofitted. Once these hinges are installed, the housing can open like a fan. The cover remains connected, your hands stay free.
The housing can be mounted in a range of ways. By optionally combining it with an adapter plate, the electronics housing can be latched securely and tool-free on aluminum extrusions, flush-mounted sockets, masts, walls, and even DIN rails.
The modular system enables individual, tailored housings. The process includes selecting from various factors such as IP degree of protection, size, color, and cover versions in the configurator. The housing is supplemented by additional accessories.
Installation of the PCB in a nearly horizontal orientation is possible due to the angled housing edge. Preassembled connectors thus slide through the holes in the housing. Positive effect: the connection technology can be easily sealed on the tall side panel. The base area can therefore be used almost completely for the PCB.

FAQs The answers to a number of questions are already available. Take a look at our FAQs.
The permanently installed seal provides proper closure. Plus, the seal stays on the housing and cannot be lost.
The pressure compensation element is already preinstalled for the housing versions that meet IP67/IP65.
The housing can be mounted on walls, masts, aluminum extrusions, or even DIN rails. An optional adapter plate makes this possible.
Mounting is tool-free. The housing is latched onto the adapter plate during mounting. You can also secure the housing with screws (can be ordered separately). To remove the housing, remove the screws (if used) and use a screwdriver or similar to lever out the latchings over the recesses of the adapter plate.
You can create your individual housings using the modular system. Several RAL colors are available. In addition, different frame versions and other accessories can be combined with versatility. Ask about other customer-specific customization options.
