M12 right-angle PCB connectors for through-hole reflow

Simplify pick-and-place automated assembly

Middletown, Pa. – Phoenix Contact now offers right-angle M12 connectors for through-hole reflow (THR) soldering processes. Previously, angled M12 PCB connectors required manual assembly and additional drilling to accommodate the snap-hook design. The new connectors are compatible with pick-and-place for automated PCB assembly, making production more efficient.

The new angled form factor offers more placement options on the PCB, even in tight spaces. The optimized design shifts the center of gravity towards the PCB for a more stable connection. This design flexibility helps to keep manufacturing lines running efficiently.

The M12 connector is designed for voltages up to 250 V and currents up to 4 A. It is available in A and D codings and in four-, five-, and eight-position versions. The two-piece design is compatible with Phoenix Contact’s existing M12 THR housings.
