What is SPS – Smart Production Solutions?

The SPS trade fair is the leading trade fair for all aspects of industrial automation and Industry 4.0 – from intelligent control technology, industrial PCs, drive technology, and communication technology to sensors, software, and many other topics. Formerly known as SPS IPC Drives, SPS now stands for Smart Production Solutions and provides a platform for sharing ideas and innovations. After two purely digital events (“SPS on air”) in 2020 and 2021, the SPS 2022 international trade fair was held on site in Nuremberg again.

The SPS 2025 trade fair will take place from November 25 – 27, 2025. Opening hours of the exhibition grounds for trade visitors are from Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

After you have requested a free ticket using the Phoenix Contact order form, you will receive a ticket code via email. You can use this ticket code to request a ticket free of charge on the official SPS exhibition website.

You can reach the exhibition grounds easily from Nuremberg main station via the underground lines U1 and U11 (towards “Langwasser Süd”). The ride takes about eight minutes.

Jackets, coats, and luggage can be checked in free of charge at the coat checks in all entrance areas. Lockers are also available in the Ost (east) and Mitte (central) entrances.
