The controller board SST IBS CLX RLL provides the proven G4 technology in the usable address range of the ControlLogix controller. Up to 4096 inputs and outputs can be addressed with one module. These data points are copied directly into and out of the controller memory using only few settings. At the same time it is possible to establish a connection to up to 62 intelligent field devices via the communication channel. The detailed G4 diagnostics information of the INTERBUS are also quickly available. For system-wide parameterization/diagnostics, the INTERBUS controller board can be addressed directly via the backplane of the controller using an Ethernet scanner for ControlLogix without putting strain on the controller. Corresponding Windows drivers are included on the driver CD. System configuration and diagnostics can therefore be performed centrally using a single computer.
