Connectivity in functional building
COMPLETE line provides different solutions for efficient connections in building installations. From feed-in, potential distribution, and outgoing wiring right through to the wet room and outdoor wiring. All products are easy to install, have standardized accessories, and have a consistent design.
At the feed-in point, the entire load of the building runs through just a few terminals. This places particular demands on thermal management. At the same time, depending on the installation situation, there is only limited space for feed-in. The solutions used must therefore be individually adaptable to the available space. The modular trunk line branch terminals can be adapted both to the available installation space and to different supply system configurations.
The efficient use of space also plays an important role in potential distribution. Space problems often arise, in particular during conversions and retrofits. Here, PTFIX distribution blocks provide a flexible and scalable solution with different numbers of positions and mounting types. With the lateral conductor connection, the new PTVFIX blocks also enable particularly space-saving wiring.
The KNX outgoing wiring in the main distribution is a prerequisite for building automation. KNX installation terminal blocks from the COMPLETE line portfolio enable the numerous outlets of the main distribution to be arranged and marked clearly – naturally in accordance with EIB, the “European Installation Bus” standard. The PTFIX portfolio features preassembled KNX blocks in various configurations.
Beyond the control box, the installation requires a higher degree of protection, even as high as IP68, depending on the installation location. The corresponding wiring of conventional branching boxes is time-consuming and cost-intensive. IP68 installation systems provide an alternative due to their quick, easy, and cost-effective assembly. The connection systems enable loads to be replaced with minimal downtimes in the event of maintenance or repair work. Here, COMPLETE line offers the PRC series with proven screw connection up to 6 mm², the QPD system with fast insulation displacement connection, and the IPD series with convenient spring connection, among others.
In the field of PV connections, there are special requirements for the DC cable. SUNCLIX connectors are compatible with many photovoltaic systems on the DC side and with the string combiner box. They support quick and error-free connection of the photovoltaic system.
