It is mandatory that the new requirements of the new Regulation are satisfied by the time it comes into force on January 20, 2027.
The new requirements also affect harmonized standards. By the time the new Machinery Regulation comes into force, all standards listed in the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC must have been revised both in form and in terms of content.
