Web-based management for ECM current measuring transducers on a laptop screen

Intuitive configuration via web-based management User-guided menu navigation

Configure the devices conveniently via a USB-C interface using web-based management (WBM) that you simply open in your browser to make the settings. This saves you the hassle of downloading the software.
The intuitive menu navigation simplifies the settings on the device. In addition, the live measurement data of the currents, such as the AC and DC components, can be visualized simultaneously in different windows. For rapidly commissioning several measuring transducers with the same configuration, save the device settings in a JSON file. Then simply import this file into the other devices.

The connection between the ECM-UC current measuring transducer and the PC can be established conveniently with a standard USB-C cable. Special accessories are not required.
During the configuration process, both data transmission and power is supplied to the device via the USB-C cable. Therefore, an external 24 V DC supply is not required for the operation of the current measuring transducer. This saves you the time-consuming connection and disconnection of electrical cables – for every single device.

ECM current measuring transducers with digital interfaces

The ECM-UC current measuring transducer range not only features devices with classic analog output signals, but also versions with digital interfaces: Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP, which provide proven solutions for communication between industrial devices via RS-485 or RJ45 interface.
Simply address the current measuring transducers in the network via IP address to change the configuration or retrieve measured data, for example. You can import the measured data as CSV files and evaluate it further.

ECM UC current measuring transducers with a measuring accuracy <0.5%

The ECM UC current measuring transducers convert DC, AC, and distorted currents into standard analog signals on the output side. The Modbus versions output the current values via digital interfaces. The measurement of the currents is based on the true RMS value measurement principle.
For optimized AC current measurement, the ECM UC current measuring transducers have four different frequency measuring ranges from 10 to 100 Hz to 10 to 1000 Hz. The devices provide precise measurement results with an accuracy of <0.5% in all measuring ranges from 0 to 0.1 A up to 0 to 100 A.

With an extended temperature range in operation from -40 to +60°C, the ECM UC current measuring transducers can also be used in extremely cold climate conditions.
Due to significantly increased air clearances and creepage distances, the devices operate reliably even at extreme altitudes of up to 4,000 meters.
The supply voltage range of 9.6 to 30 V DC ensures stable operation in highly fluctuating networks.

Current relays

Current relays

The current relay converts sinusoidal 50 Hz/60 Hz AC currents into binary switching signals. Current detection takes place inductively via the conductor led through the module. The switching thresholds are set roughly via internal DIP switches, with fine adjustment performed using a potentiometer on the front. A high-quality changeover contact relay with a gold layer is located on the output side. It can be operated in both open and closed circuit current behavior.

Your advantages:

 • Adjustable switching hysteresis
 • Relay changeover contact output
 • 3-way isolation
 • Adjustable open and closed circuit current behavior
 • The switching point is freely selectable within the measuring range of 0 to 16 A AC
