Automate, electrify, and digitalize your systems for green hydrogen and power-to-X efficiently and safely with our comprehensive solutions. Find out more about this in our e-paper.
Comprehensive safety and security for power-to-X systems
Our white paper shows why safety and security together form the basis for the safe operation of power-to-X systems – and which standards and regulatory requirements need to be observed. The spotlight is on practical examples featuring electrolyzers, fuel cells, and hydrogen distribution.
Automation of a Direct Air Capture system with DACMA GmbH
The modular Direct Air Capture system from DACMA reliably supplies CO₂ for the production of synthetic fuels in the H₂Mare project. Our automation solution combines secure remote access and functional safety to ensure stable system operation.
“I will be happy to support you on your journey toward a carbon-neutral future in all phases of the project – from planning through to implementation.”
Technologies and products
Smart system operation
Whether for operating data, energy levels, or alerts, we offer comprehensive solutions for data acquisition, communication, and evaluation. This ensures data transparency and, at the same time, improves efficiency through intelligent use of this data, such as through predictive maintenance. Our smart solutions enable remote access and remote maintenance and provide stringent redundancy concepts. This minimizes the amount of control and monitoring work involved for our customers.
Large parts of the hydrogen economy are subject to the KRITIS regulations for critical infrastructure. In addition, the increasing networking requires security, safety, and explosion protection to be examined side by side. We offer comprehensive solutions and services in order to minimize your safety and liability risks and to protect your system productivity.
Power-to-X is a key building block for achieving the energy transition. Operating systems safely and with high availability calls for modular and technology-neutral concepts for electrification, networking, and automation – we supply these concepts.
Questions and answers about green hydrogen
If you have any further questions about hydrogen, please use our contact form so that our experts can assist you quickly.
Power-to-X is a key technology for the sustainable energy transition. Surplus electrical energy from renewable sources, such as wind or solar power, is converted into other usable forms of energy. This is where electrolysis is used, a process in which water is split into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen produced can be used directly or further processed into other fuels such as methane or methanol. Renewable energy is not only storable, but can also be used across sectors in various areas of daily life, such as heavy goods vehicles or industry.
The “X” in power-to-X stands for the different forms into which the electrical energy can be converted. This includes, for example, conversion into heat (power-to-heat), chemical raw materials (power-to-chemicals), or synthetic fuels (power-to-fuel). Sectors that are particularly difficult to electrify can thus be included in a sustainable energy transition.
It is hydrogen that is produced emission-free by electrolysis using electricity from renewable sources. In the power-to-X sector, green hydrogen is making a significant contribution to the decarbonization of sectors that were previously more dependent on fossil fuels.
