Unmanaged Switches from Phoenix Contact offer you an easy and cost-effective entry point into the topic of the Industrial Ethernet. Depending on application, Phoenix Contact offers a wide range of Industrial Unmanaged Switches with a varied scope of functions: from the 5-port switch with basic functionality to the Power over Ethernet switch and 19"-versions.

Your advantages

  • Wide range of media and connection options with up to 24 ports
  • 100% suitable for industrial applications with continuous operation – thanks to high level of noise immunity, robust metal housing, and wide temperature range
  • Reliable operation: fast diagnostics, signal contact, and redundant power supply
  • Gigabit versions for high data throughput
  • Power over Ethernet versions for simple cabling of remote terminals and PDs

Unmanaged Switches for basic and standard applications

Unmanaged SF and SFN switches in flat and narrow design

Flat SF switches and narrow SFN switches for installation on DIN rails

Our cost-optimized SFNB switches are well-suited for basic applications. The 5 or 8-port switches are especially well-suited for use with small machines and monitoring applications with basic Ethernet functions. The Unmanaged Switches feature Fast Ethernet and can be used in a temperature range of -10 to +60 °C.

Use our SF (flat design) and SFN (narrow design) switches for standard functions. The Fast Ethernet versions feature up to 16 ports, while the Gigabit switches have up to 8 ports. In addition, the SFN switches prioritize data packets with the Quality of Service function. For reliable communication in PROFINET networks, they are also available as PROFINET versions with a PTCP filter.

Unmanaged Switches for harsh ambient conditions

SFNT Unmanaged Switches for DIN rails

The robust SFNT DIN rail switches feature an expanded temperature range

The SFNT series of Unmanaged Switches are specially designed to meet the stringent requirements of the Oil and Gas sector, shipbuilding, and other outdoor applications. These industrial-strength switches can be used at a temperature range from -40 to +75 °C. Up to 16 ports, a redundant power supply and a maximum of FO ports provide for added switching reliability.

Unmanaged Power over Ethernet switches

Unmanaged PoE switches for DIN rails

The series 1000 Unmanaged Switches are optimized for Power over Ethernet applications

The Unmanaged 1000 series Power over Ethernet switches transmit data and current over a single cable. As such, you can cable Powered Devices (PDs) such as PoE-capable cameras easily and cost-effectively. The PoE switches are available in various port designs and correspond to the IEEE 802.3at standard.

Unmanaged Switches for field applications

IP67 switch mounted on a profile

The IP67 Unmanaged Switch is particularly space-saving

The 1605 Unmanaged Switch stands out for its one-of-a-kind narrow design, IP67 degree of protection and five M12 connections. Thanks to the expanded temperature range, the switch is especially well-suited for use in machine building.

19" Unmanaged Switches for rack mounting

Two 19 Unmanaged Switches

Unmanaged Switches in a 19'' design for space-saving and efficient data communication

The 1800 and 1900 series of Unmanaged Switches are optimal for use in data processing centers and control rooms. Featuring 24 RJ45 ports, the 19" switches have a high port density and are available as Fast Ethernet switches or Gigabit switches. The industrial-strength switches save space when used with a rack unit and are operated using alternating current.
