With the mGuard security routers, you can establish worldwide VPN remote maintenance connections and safeguard your network at the same time with a firewall. The robust industrial routers are available as both DIN rail devices and PCI cards.
You can initiate the remote maintenance connection via either the mGuard Secure Cloud or a suitable mGuard peer. Various designs are available as peers: portable hardware, desktop devices, 19" devices, or VPN software.

mGuard routers are also available as an option with an integrated 4G (LTE) cellular interface that allows secure high-speed communication in European 4G cellular networks, with AT&T (USA), and Verizon Wireless (USA). With license and function extensions, the remote maintenance routers are also scalable so they can grow along with your requirements. All mGuard devices can be managed via the mGuard Device Manager central management software and include the option of easy startup via SD card as an alternative.

TC Cloud Clients connect your machines to the mGuard Secure Cloud securely over the Internet. They provide an inexpensive basis for scalable remote maintenance. Choose from among TC Cloud Clients that use operator networks and versions that use global 4G-LTE cellular networks for cloud communication. The TC Cloud Clients are configured via the mGuard Secure Cloud and are ready for immediate use in the machine. They have one digital input and one output. As a result, service connections to the mGuard Secure Cloud can be established and signaled as required.

The TC ROUTER product family enables high-performance, high-speed data links via cellular 4G (LTE) networks at up to 150 Mbps. This allows the cellular routers to establish a cellular broadband connection for highly flexible site networking wherever a wired Internet connection is not available. The routers are also available for the US market, and versions without VPN are available for price-sensitive applications.

mGuard security routers are security components that are tailored for use in industrial applications. These devices support many security functions, including the following:

  • User firewall, stateful inspection firewall, conditional firewall: protect your network from unwanted access
  • Deep Packet Inspection (optional extension): analyzes and understands industrial protocols (available for OPC Classic and Modbus/TCP)
  • VPN and IPsec: ensure easy and secure remote maintenance via the mGuard Secure Cloud
  • CIFS Integrity Monitoring (CIM): detects whether Windows-based systems have been manipulated by malware without having to load new virus patterns
  • Redundancy function (optional extension): increases your system availability
