The PTCB device circuit breaker can be bridged to the CLIPLINE complete terminal block range. You can use standard terminal blocks and accessories from the CLIPLINE complete system, and do not have to qualify any new materials. This enables you to quickly and easily add the ideal protection module to your existing applications.

The nominal current assistant makes setting the CBM exceptionally easy. It enables optimal adaptation to the load currents. Simply turn the rotary switch until the optimum current has been found. The LED displays the ideal setting. It could not be easier to configure the ideal system protection.

Active current limitation restricts short-circuit and overload currents to a value that is 1.5 to 2 times that of the nominal current. This protects the power supply against excessively high currents and prevents output voltage dips at the switched-mode power supply unit. Longer cable paths between the power supply and consumer are also possible without negatively impacting shutdown behavior.

In addition, the currents in the system are permanently monitored. The CBM distinguishes between undervoltages and overvoltages and thus increases system availability. The circuits are shut down in the event of an error in the operating voltage and the system is switched to a defined state. The error is indicated via the “DC OK” LED and signaled via the remote indication contact.

The CBM can be adjusted in precise nominal current steps. The nominal current range is 0.5 to 10 A. You can therefore adapt the channels individually to the connected end devices. You can make these settings for each individual circuit. If the utilization of an individual channel is above 80%, you will receive a message. This enables you to respond in good time to prevent a failure by making settings on the circuit breaker.
Its flexible adjustability allows one device to be used for different loads. This reduces your inventory costs and also ensures high flexibility in system planning at the same time.
