M17 PRO hybrid connectors in accordance with IEC standard
Compatibility and flexibility for data, signal, and power connections
Middletown, PA – Phoenix Contact introduces the M17 PRO hybrid connector, the first M17 circular connector in accordance with the IEC standard 61076-2-117. The M17 PRO hybrid combines data, signal, and power transmission in a compact, single-cable solution.
The three-in-one solution is ideal for a wide range of applications from robotics to motor control. The patented ONECLICK fast-locking system cuts assembly time by up to 70 percent compared to conventional connection methods. Audible, visual, and haptic feedback ensure a fast and secure connection.
The M17 PRO hybrid is just 30 millimeters high, a 15 percent height reduction compared to other M17 connectors. The compact design makes it suitable for space-critical, modular designs, such as low-voltage motors or conveyors. Color and mechanical coding for pin alignment ensure error-free connection.
The M17 PRO hybrid connector is available in versions for 50 V and 630 V. It withstands currents of up to 16 A and has a connection cross-section of the power pins of up to 1.5 mm². The IP66 and IP68 (2 m/24 h) degrees of protection ensure a high level of reliability even under demanding conditions.
