Micro and miniature terminal blocks
The miniature and micro terminal blocks accommodate the increasing miniaturization in machine building and switchgear and control cabinet building. Despite their small size, the terminal blocks use the standardized bridge, marking, and test accessories of the CLIPLINE complete system.

Miniature terminal blocks with Push-in and screw connection
Miniature terminal blocks, Push-in connection technology
Miniature terminal blocks
The miniature terminal blocks are ideal for mounting in small control boxes, control panels, connection boxes, etc. Despite the miniaturization, the terminal blocks still have a function shaft. Unlike the other terminal blocks, which have a double function shaft, the miniature terminal blocks have a single function shaft for potential distribution. The function shaft can be equipped with standardized bridges and test plugs of the CLIPLINE complete terminal block system. To ensure marking and therefore clear wiring despite the compact design, the standardized marking of the Push-in versions covers the function shaft of the small terminal blocks. This reduces the design by several millimeters. The MUT screw terminal block series, on the other hand, has two tall, outer marking grooves to accommodate tall marking material. With the oblique arrangement of the marking, as with the UT terminal blocks, a compact terminal can also be realized here.
Plug-in miniature terminal blocks
Plug-in miniature terminal blocks
The MPT terminal blocks are also available as plug-in terminal blocks. The plug-in miniature terminal blocks are designed in the same way as the feed-through miniature terminal blocks. The only difference is that a plug-in connection is integrated on one side instead of a Push-in connection. This plug-in connection can be connected through the COMBI connectors attached to the respective terminal block. This type of wiring offers the advantage of fast installation by relying on wiring with preassembled cable harnesses. To protect against vibration and cable pull-out, the CLIPLINE complete system offers various accessories such as latching and strain relief.
Single blocks of the modular miniature terminal blocks
Modular miniature terminal blocks
The MPT 2,5 miniature terminal blocks are also available as modular single blocks. You can choose between the following mounting types: NS 15 DIN rail, NS 35 DIN rail, direct mounting via flange, or mounting using securing pins.
Select the appropriate mounting block based on the preferred mounting type.
- MPT 2,5-RZ – securing pin
- MPT 2,5-NS35 – DIN rail
- MPT 2,5-NS15 – DIN rail
- D-MPT 2,5-F – flange cover
The rest of the terminal strip is filled with the M blocks (MPT 2,5-M). Thanks to the securing pin on the side, the blocks can be joined to the mounting blocks very easily to form a terminal block. The finished terminal blocks are in no way inferior to other terminal blocks. There is just greater flexibility when mounting.

Micro terminal blocks and micro potential distributors
The Phoenix Contact micro terminal blocks accommodate conductors with a connection capacity of 0.14 to 1.5 mm². The terminal blocks provide a particularly space-saving wiring solution in various mounting types. You can snap the micro terminal blocks onto an NS 15 DIN rail or secure them directly to the mounting wall using securing pins or latching flanges. The individual terminal blocks have an extra test point for servicing and maintenance work. The micro terminal blocks are also available as compact potential distributor variants with various numbers of positions. The individual terminal points are marked with self-adhesive marker strips.
