HEAVYCON connector housings Compatible insertion – flexible combination

Create the right connection every time using the connector housings from our three series and the matching contact inserts. All housing series fit on standard panel cutouts. STANDARD housings and EVO housings made of plastic require a panel-mount base, while ADVANCE housings are mounted directly on the panel. All housings in the STANDARD and EVO series can be freely combined and are compatible with aluminum housings from well-known manufacturers. This means that all components can be flexibly combined, changed, or replaced.

The single and double locking latches enable close arrangement, flexible mounting, and easy manual replacement of connectors. The locking latches are composed of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide.

Extra-large housings for heavy-duty connectors

The extra-large connector housings in sizes B32 and B48 accommodate two fixed-position contact inserts side by side. They are thus particularly suitable for high-position supply lines.

Heavy-duty connector versions with more wiring space

High sleeve and surface-mount housings with cable outlets of up to M50 provide more room for wiring large cable diameters and wiring bundles. Perfect for applications with modular contact inserts.

With the HEAVYCON STANDARD D7 heavy-duty connectors, you can transmit power, signals, and data even in confined spaces. You can choose between corrosion-resistant metal housings and plastic housings with molded cable gland.

HEAVYCON D7 with screw-in thread

HEAVYCON D7 panel-mount bases with screw-in thread save a significant amount of time during mounting. They are secured conveniently in round panel cutouts using an M25 or M32 counter nut or screwed into motors and devices with the corresponding thread.

You can mount the D7 panel-mount base on the wall easily using two or four screws, depending on your requirements.

The robust D7 housings are reliably corrosion-resistant and offer optimum protection against dust and water. The plug connection defies adverse environmental influences and is dust and water-tight up to IP67 degree of protection. This enables reliable use even in outdoor applications.

With the RJ45 contact inserts for D7 housings, you can create your own compact and robust interface and transfer data safely and reliably at high speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The RJ45 connector sets guarantee the fast and safe cabling of your application with the qualified preselection of the components. Moreover, the slotted seal in the housing screw connection also allows pre-assembled cables to be fed in easily.

The HEAVYCON EVO product family is characterized by particularly robust connector housings made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. They feature different cable orientations and mechanical resilience at the same level as metal. They meet degree of protection IP66 and are as robust as metal housings due to their impact strength up to IK08/09. They are also compatible with standard aluminum housings. Their sophisticated design combines stability, protection, and flexibility – with a reduced weight and lower costs.

With the flexible bayonet locking, you can determine the cable outlet direction on site and subsequently change it, if required. You have the choice of a straight or side outlet. With the EVO TWIN housings, you can install two flexible cable outlets on one plastic housing.

EVO housings in sizes D15 and D25 are very narrow and protect your interfaces even when space is limited. Matching contact inserts, including with Push-in connection, ensure fast installation.

The M1 single-module housings made of plastic accommodate a modular contact insert and a PE module. As a result, they enable an extremely compact interface.

HEAVYCON ADVANCE heavy-duty connectors with screw locking mechanism are ideally suited for particularly aggressive surroundings, for example, in offshore areas, or the chemical or railway industry. Sensitive interfaces are reliably protected, even against electromagnetic interference. For the panel feed-through, the panel-mount base that is normally used has been replaced by two simple panel-mount flanges, thereby reducing mounting and material costs. With this method, the sleeve housing forms a seal directly on the control cabinet panel.
