The plug-in COMBI terminal blocks are a special form of hybrid terminal blocks. The terminal blocks have a standardized plug-in zone on one side and Push-in, screw, spring-cage or fast-connection technology on the other side. Due to the contact system, they can withstand extreme vibration levels. The plug-in terminal blocks save you a lot of time when carrying out signal and power wiring.

From feeding into the control cabinet, through supplying the power- and control systems, all the way to the rapid installation of decentral system parts. The COMBI connection system always provides the perfect solution.

Plug-in components inside the control cabinet can be installed and removed quickly and easily. Plug-in ring feeders ensure reliable power supply from control cabinet to control cabinet. Couplings for flying leads are not only suitable for wiring in restricted spaces. They can also be used to easily extend pre-assembled cables.
The flexible and extensive options offered by the standardized plug-in zone of the COMBI system have won over several well-known companies. Rittal has opted for the COMBI system and has integrated the plug-in zone into the new RiLine60 device adapter.

Plugs and couplings for self-assembly

The COMBI connectors are available pre-assembled with up to 15 positions or for self-assembly. The versions for self-assembly support modular design for individual applications. The latches available for mounting on the terminal block connectors as an option withstand even the greatest vibration. The latchings ensure a secure connection between the terminal and COMBI connector. To prevent the conductors from being subject to tensional strain, the COMBI system also features different types of strain relief, such as simple, snap-on versions and complete cable housings. To prevent conductor kinking, the system also features kink-protection sleeves in addition to the cable housings.

Three contacts for internal wiring and male contacts for plug-in external wiring. This allows system parts to be replaced quickly in the event of servicing or modular system concepts to be implemented for fast startup. Due to the large number of contact points, the terminal blocks are ideally suited for use as compact plug-in marshalling panels. The large-surface marking option and marker carriers of the same shape with end bracket function ensure clear matrix marking.
