Connection technology for energy management in buildings

Your applications – our solutions

Successful energy management in building automation plays a vital role in optimizing the energy monitoring and energy efficiency of all applications and their seamless communication with each other. Energy management increasingly also involves the generation, storage, and transmission of renewable energy. Complex systems contain numerous power electronics devices that all work together with control and communication technology. For example, they include combined heat and power plants and photovoltaic systems that supply a building with the energy needed. Photovoltaic inverters convert energy for auxiliary power consumption and feedback into public power supply grids. Charge controllers charge energy storage systems to buffer electricity. Together with automatic load and resource management, smart meters are part of intelligent power grids. High-performance connection technology from Phoenix Contact ensures that the devices work reliably and the energy can be transmitted and used safely.
