White paper on high-speed board-to-board connectors Identifying influences on data transmission and optimizing data integrity
Networking the world demands ever faster data transmission from devices and interfaces. This also requires connections within devices that route signals and data back and forth between the printed circuit boards as quickly and reliably as possible. Read our white paper to find out how you can achieve high data integrity with impedance-optimized board-to-board connectors, their pin assignment, and the corresponding PCB layer structure.
White paper on the different modes of tolerance compensation Different contact systems and their tolerance compensation
Board-to-board connectors connect printed circuit boards. They must meet electrical and mechanical requirements in devices. Different connector systems are suitable for different requirements and offer specific advantages such as tolerance compensation. Our white paper explains why tolerance compensation is so crucial for board-to-board connectors. Discover the various contact systems, their possible applications, and when floating types are the better choice over rigid ones.

Our board-to-board series in detail
FR 1,27 series: A leap in performance for even higher data rates up to 28 Gbps
See for yourself how the FR 1,27 series BTB connectors provide more space in the device when space is at a premium. Device developers can benefit from the high degree of freedom afforded when planning and implementing device-internal PCB connections.
FS 0,635 series: Compact and economical solution for your device development
FS series board-to-board data connectors provide you with space-saving and cost-effective solutions for device development. Transmit data rates up to 40 Gbps and currents up to 0.5 A per contact via up to 80-position connectors with a pitch of 0.635 mm and stack heights up to 16.6 mm – safely and reliably with high angle and offset tolerances.
FP 0,8 series: High EMC protection
Secure data transmission up to 52 Gbps thanks to the clever shielding concept: unique to the market, both shielded and unshielded board-to-board connectors are available in the same portfolio. The same tolerances, stack heights, and mechanical properties enable uniform process parameters – particularly in applications in which both versions are to be installed on one printed circuit board. The high level of product variety also ensures a high level of flexibility during design-in for series production.
