Our top topics at SPS 2026

Experience Industrial AI in action
Experience Industrial AI throughout the entire value chain: from planning and engineering, through commissioning and operation, right through to maintenance and service. We will be showcasing applications where you can already use artificial intelligence for code generation, configuration automation, anomaly detection, quality assurance, process optimization, predictive maintenance, and live diagnostics. This enables you to reduce engineering effort, optimize your processes, detect errors earlier, and relieve the workload on skilled employees so they can focus on what matters.
Experience open automation with the PLCnext Technology Ecosystem
Make automation as flexible as modern software development. Discover how open automation architectures and Virtual PLCnext Control open up new possibilities for the development, operation, and scaling of machines and systems. We will demonstrate how control functions can be virtualized, how software can be developed independently of hardware, and how applications can be deployed more quickly. This approach will enable you to lay the foundation for modular machine designs, more efficient engineering, and future-proof automation.
Experience OT security in practice
Cybersecurity is becoming a fundamental requirement in state-of-the-art automation. Learn how you can effectively protect machines, systems, and industrial networks and meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act and NIS 2.0. Discover solutions for secure remote maintenance, network segmentation, user and access management, and continuous security monitoring. These will help you reduce risks, increase the availability of your systems, and lay the foundation for a secure digital transformation.
Discover our extensive portfolio of field-installation products with IP67 protection
How can we migrate more and more functions directly to the machine and out into the field? Discover our comprehensive IP67 portfolio of power supplies, device protection, field I/O, safety, motor starters, and industrial communication. We will show you how you can downsize control cabinets, reduce installation efforts, and increase flexibility and availability at the same time. This approach will enable you to create robust, scalable automation concepts for the machines and production systems of tomorrow.
