Field controllers with PCI interface
The basic version of our field controllers - FC 200 PCI - belongs to the type 200 performance class of our control solutions (ILC 200 IB, ILC 200 UNI, IBS ISA FC/I-T, IB ST 24 RFC-T). It expands the standard PC to make it a fully-fledged controller in acc. with IEC 61131-3, with parameterization memory, additional memory for remanent data, and direct I/Os
There is an option for the connection of an external 5 V power supply to ensure uninterrupted operation of the INTERBUS system.
To ensure consistent configuration and programming, the field controller is integrated into the universal control system of Phoenix Contact by means of the PC WORX 3 programming environment. The powerful slot PLC can be programmed in all five IEC 61131-3 languages.
The field controllers thus combine such important properties as realtime capability, safety and simple programming with the versatility and openness of a PC, and thus provide autonomous performance for control functions in realtime, independent of the host.
The PC system thus remains free for the visualization of the process signals and parameters connected via INTERBUS. A standardized coupling to the different visualization packages is available via the OPC interface.
