The Phoenix Contact operating system (OS) restore tool is designed for convenience and efficiency. By providing a digital download of the operating system supplied* with your Phoenix Contact IPC**, we can avoid shipping physical DVDs and USB media that are often never used and will eventually take up space in a landfill.
To use the downloadable OS restore tool, you will need:
- A Phoenix Contact IPC with the serial number (from the silver label on the IPC)
- Bootable USB storage media (16-32GB recommended)
- A functioning Windows 10 computer system to download the files and create the USB OS Restore tool
*Custom articles will receive the base OS Image, since we cannot distribute any 3rd party software included in custom OS Images. 3rd party software and other custom settings will need to be installed and configured by the customer.
