At 6.2 mm wide, the PTCB series of electronic circuit breakers the perfect solution for protecting your critical loads. The single-channel PTCB series are UL 508 Listed and UL Recognized to UL 2367 with Class I, Division 2 approval for hazardous locations. They can be ordered as fixed versions or programmable versions which can be individually adjusted, enabling them to cover a wide range of applications with a single part number. Also available, are versions with NEC Class 2 which eliminates fire and shock hazards. The ability to bridge the PTCB to our CLIPLINE complete portfolio of terminal blocks makes it uniquely flexible for distributing power.

Two different versions of the PTCB are available. The standard PTCB has a Normally Open (NO) dry contact output to indicate when it has been tripped. The other option is available with status inverted-reset (SI-R). The SI-R versions have a digital status output that indicates when it has been tripped. It also has a separate digital reset input that enables a tripped device to reset remotely. Both of these single-channel electronic overcurrent protection devices are the perfect solution for protecting your critical loads.

Status inverted-reset (SI-R)

These PTCB SI-R variants have an inverted status output and reset input. The inverted status output simplifies grouped status signal acquisition. The separate digital reset input enables a tripped device to reset remotely. The remote reset is indispensable for hard to access applications.

eFuse

The PTCB series is now available with eFuse technology for applications with rated currents < 1 A. The features of the PTCB eFuse target the small glass fuse (5x20mm) market.

The glass fuse market has not been addressed with electronic components. For the first time, small operating currents can be protected electronically, status can be evaluated remotely, triggered channels can be reset and overcurrents and reverse currents can be prevented.
