Like their digital counterparts, the analog input modules have also been designed with IP67 protection and for use directly on the machine. They allow nearly all analog standard signals that are used in mechanical engineering to be linked to INTERBUS.
The two-channel analog input module can detect voltage and current signals (0 - 10 V, 0 - 20 mA, 4 - 20 mA ) and process them with a resolution of 12 bits.
Another module is designed for the detection of temperatures. All conventional resistance thermometers (RTD) and thermocouples (TC) can be connected to this module. The module also has two channels and a resolution of 16 bits.
All analog sensors are connected with common M12 connectors. The module is linked to INTERBUS Loop 2 like the supply voltage, using the QUICKON fast connection system.
