It is a little larger than a soccer field. As the park’s centerpiece, the All Electric Society Pavilion shows what the All Electric Society means at Phoenix Contact and how sector coupling helps optimize the flow of renewable energy.
Welcome to the All Electric Society Park
Experience, discover, and explore the future:
How reliable are renewable energy sources? Where do we get energy from when the sun is not shining and the wind is not blowing? Why are there different ways to charge an electric car? And how does the green electricity actually get into the car, a building, or production?
Our All Electric Society answers these and other exciting questions: Experience live with us in Blomberg how energy is generated, stored, and distributed and how energy consumption is optimized – and how all these areas relate to each other.

The interactive park experience
In our All Electric Society Park, we will introduce you to interactive stations that showcase the many ways renewable energy can be generated, converted, stored, distributed, and used. To do this, we use both self-generated green electricity and heat energy from heat pumps and conversion processes.
The All Electric Society Park is designed to enable you to develop your solution yourself. There is a host of different information sources available for this.
You can find the following on the monitors in the glass cubes and in the pavilion:
- Overview of the All Electric Society Park with all energy and data flows and information windows in “PARK” view.
- Explanatory videos to match the topic of the cube in “CUBE” view.
- “EXPERTS” view provides more detailed technical information.
The monitors are touch-activated, so you can choose yourself what you want to see.
Interactions are integrated in the glass cubes to match the relevant topic. Use these playful elements to experiment and see for yourself what the technology does in the All Electric Society.
There are QR codes on the different objects everywhere in the park. Use your smart phone to scan them and obtain even more information about the object.
The best place to start is to visit the All Electric Society Pavilion. You can select the next stations as you see fit.
What is the All Electric Society?
In the All Electric Society, only renewably-generated electrical energy is used. However, these sustainable actions do not automatically mean doing without. Instead, it is a matter of using existing resources optimally and making them available equally to everyone in the world.
This is made possible by sector coupling: the linking of all relevant areas of life and work – mobility, energy, infrastructure, and industry – to form one system. In this system, the energy is distributed automatically in accordance with demand. This ensures that it is always available where it is needed.
A great idea for the future, in a compact size
It ensures that a wind turbine generator is operated at a lofty height: the wind turbine nacelle. Usually this sensitive area is accessible only for specialists, but in our park you not only have the chance to get a close look at the machine room. You can also to enter it.
Interactive glass cubes around the site make experiencing the All Electric Society topics an enjoyable adventure. All cubes are intelligently networked with each other. This means that you can always tell how much energy is available and where it is needed.
Around 550 solar panels throughout the All Electric Society Park provide it with a complete supply of renewable energy. In addition to roof panels and solar panels integrated into windows, there are 26 m² of walkable solar paving integrated into the sidewalks.
Connect everything together in the All Electric Society Park. Here, electricity flows through cables that have a total length of 7 km. The other 12 km of cables are needed for data connections.
Why you should not miss the All Electric Society Park.
- Because real applications let you experience how we will create the energy revolution together
- Because you can discover what is already technically feasible today and what diverse opportunities there are in the industry to become more sustainable
- Because you can learn hands-on and discover: Interactive elements let you become part of the energy flow
- Because in our All Electric Society Park, you meet people who are helping to shape the future – and you can always experience something!
