Graduate Development Program (GDP)
Phoenix Contact Canada’s GDP is designed to help you. You will have the unique opportunity to learn the business and experience full-cycle activities and projects as you rotate through each company area. We have developed two streams: Technical and Commercial.

I joined Phoenix Contact shortly after graduating from the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program at Humber College. I joined the Technical Support team as a Product Specialist with very minimal experience but was surrounded with peers that did everything to share their knowledge, assist me and help me grow during the past few years. After about four years in the Technical department, I was ready for the next challenge and was given the opportunity to join our Marketing team as one of the Product Marketing Managers to further enhance my skills and contribute further to my growth as well as the organization’s. If you are willing to continuously grow, enhance your skills and have a passion for technology, Phoenix Contact is the organization to join!
Admission criteria
When considering applications for this program, the admissions committee seeks a balance of academic and extra-circular representation. The application process is a multi-week recruitment process. Each application is carefully reviewed by a recruiter and all successful candidates will be contacted to learn more about their background and interests.

I started as a COOP student in the company I previously worked for. A month later, I moved to supply chain department to help with planning. After a few months of being Assistant Planner and gaining enough experience, I got promoted to “Demand Planner.” I joined Phoenix Contact in June 2022. As a new member of Phoenix Contact, I have gained a lot of experience, which helped me learn more and grow more! Phoenix Contact is a great organization with great culture.
