Gases and liquids, such as hydrogen and methanol, are generated from renewable electrical energy using electrolysis and transported as carbon-neutral buffers. As e-fuels, they are used in the mobility sector, for heat generation, and in industry. If necessary, they can also be used for power recovery, e.g., in combined heat and power plants.

In modern power-to-X applications, signals must be transmitted easily, flexibly, and reliably from the control level via the interface level into the field. This also applies to the signal path from the field to the control level.
