The IBS ISA S5-945 PC40/T is ideal for use in applications for which there is already a control system and an operating or visualization PC. The integrated and open interfaces provide the user with ideal conditions for implementing the automation function without having to use additional interface cards. Integration of the I/Os and field devices via INTERBUS and an integrated DDE and DLL interface for rapid access from the Windows PC to data areas of the PLC is thus guaranteed.
