Phoenix Contact will be presenting pioneering technologies for industrial automation at this year’s SPS – Smart Production Solutions – from November 25 to 27, in Nuremberg, Germany. In Hall 9, Booth 310, Phoenix Contact will be demonstrating to visitors how its technologies are actively driving the digital transformation and the All Electric Society forward.
Phoenix Contact has received the Sustainability Direct Award from Grundfos. This award recognizes the Blomberg-based company’s commitment to sustainability as an integral part of its business operations and innovation activities.
In order to achieve the climate targets, CO2 emissions must be reduced to a minimum in the next few years. Phoenix Contact is responding to this challenge with its vision of the All Electric Society. This vision describes a world in which electric energy from renewable resources is affordable and available in sufficient quantities at all times. Phoenix Contact received two new IEC 62443 certifications from TÜV Rheinland at Hannover Messe 2025.
Phoenix Contact is among the top five percent of companies awarded gold medal status for their sustainability performance by the independent analysts at Ecovadis. The company from Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Germany, was thus able to maintain its gold status for another year. Around the same time, Phoenix Contact published its new sustainability report – which is available as a climate-friendly download online.
Phoenix Contact is changing its item packaging over to unprinted folding cartons, both nationally and internationally. The packaging can therefore be reused – in the spirit of a sustainable circular economy.
The process industry is facing various challenges – including the need for higher efficiency and flexibility in modularization, cost reductions in processes, and the use of sustainable resources for system operations. Based on the development of technology standards and modularization approaches, Phoenix Contact will be presenting suitable solutions with regard to energy efficiency and carbon reductions at the ACHEMA trade fair in Hall 11.1, Booth A31.
To further optimize logistics processes, Phoenix Contact is introducing new product labels that simplify automated goods receipt and goods issue for its customers.
The Signal Conditioner App from Phoenix Contact has been nominated for the Automation App Award 2023 in the category “Engineering and Robotics”.
The highly compact MINI Analog Pro Ex i signal conditioners with SIL 3 have made it onto the shortlist in the “MCR/process automation” category of the “Best of Industry Awards”.
