In order to achieve the climate targets, CO2 emissions must be reduced to a minimum in the next few years. Phoenix Contact is responding to this challenge with its vision of the All Electric Society. This vision describes a world in which electric energy from renewable resources is affordable and available in sufficient quantities at all times. To achieve this goal, the company offers technical solutions, products, and services.

From 7-9 May 2025, prospective customers can learn about the comprehensive portfolio at The smarter E Europe trade fair. Phoenix Contact can be found at booth 110 in hall B5 at the Messe München Trade Fair Center.

The monitoring, control, and software solutions for photovoltaic systems are one focus of the trade fair appearance. Among other things, solutions for feed-in management with power control units as well as energy monitoring will be on show alongside string combiner boxes for rooftop and ground-mounted systems. These will be complemented by matching terminal blocks, connectors, power supplies, surge protective devices, and tools. The trade fair appearance will also focus on the topic of e-mobility. At 11 a.m. on 7 May 2025, visitors to this area will be able to take part in an exclusive product premiere at the Phoenix Contact booth entitled “Megawatt charging with CCS charging cables”. New product developments for the fast charging of electric cars and electric utility vehicles as well as for setting up a powerful and networked charging infrastructure will also be on display. The broad Charx charging technology portfolio has been specially developed for demanding e-mobility applications. It covers the entire charging process with its charging sockets and cables, controllers, and DC power electronics and distribution modules.

Due to the coupling of the various sectors and stakeholders, such as power grids, buildings, local generators, charging stations, and electric vehicles, the transmission of the relevant data is becoming ever more important. The communication must always be designed to be secure. Phoenix Contact has been actively involved in the field of cybersecurity for many years. The experts will present appropriate solutions for protection against cyber attacks at The Smarter E Europe. This includes a security router certified and approved by TÜV Rheinland in accordance with IEC 62443-4-2. Interested trade fair visitors can take a look at the interaction between the exhibited components and systems as part of a live sector coupling in the All Electric Society Park in Blomberg.
