INTERBUS controller board for Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 PLCs
The IBS S7 300 BC-T and IBS S7 300 DSC-T controller boards allow you to connect SIMATIC S7 300 PLCs to the INTERBUS system.
The IBS S7 300 BC-T basic variant is inexpensive and the emphasis is on easy startup with "Plug & Play" and straightforward operation. The INTERBUS configuration is read in and started automatically when the supply voltage is switched on. Diagnostic and operating statuses are displayed directly on the controller board by several LEDs.
With the convenient high-end IBS S7 300 DSC-T controller board you can extend your performance with:
- Data preprocessing functions
- Synchronous operating modes
- Extended parameterization functions using the IBS CMD SWT G4 software tool, and
- PCP communication
On the outside, the IBS S7 300 DSC-T differs from the basic version in that it has a plug-in parameterization memory and the proven diagnostics display with a separate keyboard for operating the extensive display functions. The diagnostics data are displayed in plain text. This means that any malfunctions can be remedied within a very short period, increasing the availability of your system.
System monitoring is performed by an automatic diagnostic function. The diagnostics data from the control system are naturally also available via a diagnostics register (input word) and can be used for a visualization system, for example.
IBS CMD makes it easy to parameterize INTERBUS. These parameterization data that are on the plug-in type IBS MC FLASH parameterization memory, can then be saved on the controller board. If the controller board is replaced, the entire INTERBUS parameterization on the FLASH card can simply be plugged into a new board.
The sensor and actuator data are displayed and edited as with the Siemens input/output modules in STEP7.
The INTERBUS system is controlled via a function register. Frequently used diagnostic and control functions (e.g. by passing devices and switching them on and off, erasing the diagnostic display, acknowledging messages) can be called up directly by simply setting outputs.
