Digital to analog converter for implementing up to 4 digital input signals in one condition-proportional 4 ... 20 mA signal. The module sets a current value at the module output in the range of 4 mA ... 20 mA depending on the switching state of the signal generators attached. The active analog input card can determine the switching states of the switching contacts using the current value and the corresponding calculation tables. The module is installed on a corresponding VIP I/O-Marshalling base element by means of plug-in contact. Installation in zone 2, “ec” type of protection is permitted.
