Mechanical processing
Just like always, the mechanical processing steps of control cabinet building are hands on. But if these manual work steps are designed to be efficient, you can reduce production times and costs even here.
Designing manual processes for efficiency
Efficiently designed workstations and workflows provide significant time and cost savings for manual tasks such as the mechanical processing of DIN rails and cable ducts. At the same time, digitally created manufacturing documents from the engineering software minimize errors and guarantee clarity over the progress of every order. Our coordinated, scalable tool portfolio also ensures optimal ergonomics.
Your advantages for efficient mechanical processing in control cabinet building
Reduction of production time and costs through efficiently designed and digitally supported workflow
All manufacturing documents available at any time with digital data provision directly from the engineering software
Fast, clean, and safe work processes with splinter-free and burr-free work with cutting tools for DIN rails and cable ducts
Modular workstation systems
For efficient processes in control cabinet building
With the clipx BASIC line workstation systems, you can easily configure your own individual workstation for efficient and ergonomic working. The scalable design allows our accessories to be integrated into existing workstations or to be combined with our ergonomic basic workstations. Workstations can thus be individually equipped to suit your needs. The modular system means that the workstation systems can be flexibly adapted for specific requirements or extended, e.g., with software at any time.
The basic workstation is equipped with a bracket for attaching a terminal board or monitor, for example, and can be positioned flexibly in height. It also has a pull-out drawer below the workbench. The lower area provides space for storing a variety of DIN rails or wiring channels up to a length of 2 m. The brackets already installed on the frame ensure a good hold. Another storage area is also available in the upper part of the workstation.
Combine the basic workstation with the appropriate accessories and tools quickly and easily. With our profile and DIN rail cutters, you can not only cut standard DIN rails and cable ducts quickly and precisely, but also without chips and without burrs. At the same time, the optimized leverage ensures comfortable use. A cup holder which you can easily attach to the frame ensures further order and cleanliness at the workplace. This means that you can achieve an optimally coordinated and tidy workstation for manual mechanical processing with minimal effort.
Achieve greater efficiency in mechanical processing by extending the workstation system. All production documents and orders can be called up at any time via the monitor. The digital provision of data helps to reduce errors and shorten the processing times. The use of our zero-cut block for manually cutting perforated DIN rails ensures further time savings. The zero-cut block enables fast and reproducible zero cuts with just one setting and without time-consuming, repeated measurement. With our THERMOMARK ROLL 2.0 thermal transfer printer, you can mark the processed DIN rails and cable ducts with labels directly at the workstation. In this way, ready-made orders can be clearly assigned despite the order variance.
Efficient manufacturing with worker assistance software
Automatically source your digital manufacturing documents from the data created in engineering. Our worker assistance software helps you significantly boost efficiency: the program selects the necessary data from your ECAD planning and displays it clearly. In addition, the software guides you step-by-step through the processing process, thus reducing sources of error and search times compared to when using usual paper documents.
Our ergonomic hand tools and efficient automatic tools ensure process reliability in your production and reduce your employees’ workload.
