Small dimensions, great performance: With the new PCB connectors, device designers and device manufacturers have significantly more creative freedom. With their innovative design, the SPC 4 series PCB connectors with a pitch of 6.35 mm can accommodate conductors of up to 4 mm². The proven Push-in connection enables a convenient installation.
Compact SPC 4 series PCB connectors
Innovative design saves space and production costs
The best features combined in one connector: The SPC 4 connector series is compact and, with a pitch of 6.35 mm, helps save space on the device. And the innovative shield contacting is the freedom trump card in the device design. Locking by means of top lock or middle flange ensures a safe connection. The enhanced touch protection on the header and connector of this all-round solution offers extra safety. THR headers enable reflow soldering processes and automated assembly. This reduces production costs.
Your advantages
- Compact: Connectors with a pitch of 6.35 mm save space on the device front.
- Innovative: Device designers have more freedom with the clever shield contacting mechanism.
- Multivariant: Locking via top lock or center flange is reliable and space-saving.
- Safe: Enhanced touch protection on header and connector offers extra safety.
- Efficient: The THR headers help reduce production costs thanks to suitability for reflow soldering and automated assembly.

The new SPC 4 series power connectors feature an innovative shield connection on the printed circuit board. Thus, they offer greater flexibility in their use. The power connectors with plug-in shield connection via solder pin are particularly suited to applications such as drive technology, servo drives, or power electronics. The THR header with optional tape-on-reel packaging helps device designers and manufacturers implement an automated assembly and easy integration into the SMT soldering process.
The right variant for every application and every device design: The new SPC 4 series PCB connectors come in three designs: a standard version without locking mechanism, a version with top lock, and one with center flange to reliably connect header and connector. The locking elements are color-coded. They can be operated intuitively.
All-round touch safety: Phoenix Contact’s designers have taken into account exactly this aspect with the new SPC 4 PCB connectors. Due to their advantageous design, the connectors are safe to touch at either end. The positive consequence: a lot of extra safety.
A boost to efficiency and cost savings: The new SPC 4 series PCB connectors provide both of those advantages. The THR header was optionally equipped with tape-on-reel packaging. Device manufacturer therefore benefit from easy integration into the SMT soldering process and from automated assembly.
