Key job detail
- Location: Mexico, Querétaro
Tasks, role and responsibilities
- Independently lead DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, and other risk analyses to identify and mitigate product and process risks
- Develop and maintain inspection standards, work instructions, and technical documentation (e.g., TI)
- Perform MSA to evaluate and continuously improve inspection methods
- Define, select and validate inspection equipment, measuring instruments, and fixtures for new products
- Participate in visual, dimensional, and functional reviews during the PPA process.
- Collaborate with PM/PE to plan and evaluate pilot runs, using tools like CMK to assess readiness for mass production
- Oversee final inspections and manage non-conforming products
- Analyze internal and external quality issues during development and ramp-up phases; define and track corrective actions
- Support resolution of quality issues related to production parts and customer complaints
- Collect and analyze data on process and final product quality
- Coordinate and verify the effectiveness of quality improvement measures with relevant departments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related
- 3+ years PCBA process quality management experience
- Familiar with ISO9000 quality management system
- Master the QC 7 tools, 8D, 5WHY, PDCA and other quality tools
- Master the application of quality tools such as SPC, MSA, FEMA, APQP, PPAP, etc.
- Master inspection sampling plans such as GB2828
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent English in verbal and writing
Preferred qualifications
- Factory NPI support experience is preferred
- Master the knowledge of probability and statistics
- Proficient in commonly used statistical techniques and able to apply them to statistical process control
- Master the basic knowledge of reliability
- Proficient in quality improvement knowledge
- Master the knowledge of risk assessment
